SUBJECT: It’s My Business: Please Share My Listings with Other MLSs
It has come to my attention that [insert name of your Association/MLS] isn’t sharing data with other MLSs in California.
Data sharing is important to my business.
Every day, consumers use third party portals. Then they call me about properties they can see on Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com or Homes.com — but I can’t see them in my own MLS because they’re just outside of our service area.
When a consumer can get more information for free than I can provide as a dues paying member of my MLS, it hurts my business, because I’m no longer the expert.
Technology doesn’t hold us back anymore. Let’s move forward.
Please sign a data sharing agreement today. Get behind the statewide MLS initiative sponsored by CRMLS. Because it’s my business, and yours.
